Ninety III Diary #1

It’s a very cold Sunday morning in the shop, and I need something to focus on aside from my frozen toes, so I have decided to start an online diary. My intention is to share mood boards, styling ideas, interviews with our stocked brands & updates on the store!

It’s been 4 months since we opened our Bricks & Mortar, and now I’m happier with the layout of the space I thought it would be a good time to share the interior of the store & how I got here!

EST in October 2021, I launched Ninety III as I felt a space in my home City, Norwich, for contemporary womenswear brands didn’t exist. Norwich is a very creative city, the home of literature, bustling with inspiration & many great independents!

Though it really bugged me I had to shop online or travel to London to get up close to unique and exciting womenswear brands. I still enjoyed the experience of trying on and getting inspired in store.

I wanted to bring something different to the city.

After a few years of hosting pop up shops and running online, I was tentatively dreaming about a permanent space. Having heard on the grapevine that an empty unit was coming up on a very independent Norwich Street, St Augustine’s, I decided to jump.

The street tends to run on Thurs - Sun hours, so I could make it alongside my full time Mon-Fri if I opened on weekends. I had minimal funds to get in and get going… but we made it work!

Whilst the space is small, I couldn’t be happier with what we’ve done to it.
When I say ‘we’, I mean my wonderful partner and a few friends I have managed to rope in along the way!

I would of course love a bigger space in the future, but for now Number 31 St Augustines Street is the perfect space to house our curation of statement homewear, clothing & lifestyle brands.

Follow along on IG for more regular behind the scenes and whats on the shelves!

Time to grab a hot coffee!
